The Ashanti Regional Minister, Dr. Frank Amoakohene, has held a series of New Year engagement meetings with leadership and stakeholders of five constituencies in the Ashanti Region as part of efforts to deepen collaboration and keep the grassroots informed about ongoing government initiatives.

The constituencies visited were Ahafo Ano North, Ahafo Ano South East, Ahafo Ano South West, Atwima Nwabiagya North, and Atwima Nwabiagya South.

The engagements provided an important platform for the Regional Minister to brief constituency executives, traditional authorities, opinion leaders, and party faithful on key government developmental activities currently being undertaken across the region and the country at large.

Dr. Amoakohene also used the opportunity to express his sincere appreciation to stakeholders for their unwavering support for His Excellency John Dramani Mahama and his government.

According to the Regional Minister, beyond sharing updates, the meetings were deliberately structured to allow for open dialogue.

He noted that significant time was devoted to listening to concerns raised by participants, receiving constructive feedback, and discussing practical steps towards addressing local development challenges in the best interest of the communities.

Dr. Amoakohene expressed gratitude to all constituency executives, elders, opinion leaders, and members who participated in the engagements, describing their contributions as vital to inclusive governance and sustainable development.

He reaffirmed the government’s commitment to strengthening unity, enhancing development coordination, and delivering tangible progress across all parts of the Ashanti Region, stressing that continuous engagement with the people remains central to achieving shared development goals.
