A Youth Organiser aspirant of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Asokwa Constituency, Amo Mensah Mark, has extended heartfelt Eid-ul-Fitr greetings to Muslim members of the party and the wider Islamic community, urging unity, tolerance, and renewed commitment to national development.
In a statement to mark the end of the holy month of Ramadan, Mr. Amo Mensah Mark commended Muslims for their dedication, discipline, and spiritual devotion throughout the fasting period. He described Eid-ul-Fitr as a celebration of faith, sacrifice, compassion, and self-restraint—values that align closely with the ideals of the NDC.
“Eid-ul-Fitr is not only a time of celebration but also a moment of reflection on the virtues of unity, generosity, humility, and service to humanity,” he noted. “These principles are central to the vision of the NDC and our shared goal of building a better Ghana.”
The aspiring Youth Organiser emphasized the need for peaceful coexistence and togetherness within the Asokwa Constituency, calling on residents to embrace the lessons of Ramadan in their daily lives. According to him, the spirit of the holy month should inspire citizens to become more tolerant, compassionate, and dedicated to community and national progress.
Mr. Amo Mensah Mark also expressed profound appreciation to Muslim members and supporters of the NDC in Asokwa for their loyalty and contributions to the growth of the party. He acknowledged their sacrifices, prayers, and unwavering support as a strong pillar of the party’s strength in the constituency.
“To our cherished Muslim brothers and sisters in Asokwa, I say thank you for your continuous dedication and commitment to the NDC. Your support remains invaluable to our collective success,” he stated.
Looking ahead, he called for a renewed sense of purpose among party members, urging them to work together toward building a united, inclusive, and prosperous constituency.
“As we celebrate this special occasion, let us recommit ourselves to the ideals of unity and development under the banner of the NDC. Together, through collective effort and shared purpose, we will achieve greater heights,” he added.
He concluded his message with prayers for the Muslim community, asking Allah to accept their عبادات (acts of worship), forgive their shortcomings, and bless them with peace, good health, and prosperity.
The message comes as Muslims across Ghana and around the world mark Eid-ul-Fitr with prayers, feasting, and acts of charity, celebrating the successful completion of Ramadan.
