A leading member of the National Democrat Congress (NDC) , Osei Richmond, has officially declared his intention to contest the position of Ashanti Regional Organiser, promising to bring renewed energy, unity and effective grassroots mobilisation to the party ahead of future political engagements..
Mr. Richmond, whose campaign message is anchored on “Unity – Progress – Victory,” believes the party’s strength lies in a well-structured grassroots base, motivated members and an organisational system that prioritises the concerns of party supporters.
According to him, the Ashanti Region remains a crucial pillar of the NDC, and there is the need for a strong organisational framework capable of strengthening party structures from the polling station level to the regional hierarchy.
He said his decision to contest the position was driven by a desire to serve the party and contribute his experience towards rebuilding confidence, improving coordination and ensuring that the NDC remains a formidable political force in the region.
