The District Chief Executive (DCE) for Ahafo Ano South West in the Ashanti region , Hon. Abubakar Sadik, joined residents of Kunsu in a thanksgiving service to celebrate the successful hole in heart surgery of Ms. Leticia Acheampong from Kunsu.
The thanksgiving ceremony, held at the Christ Apostolic Church International in Kunsu today , brought together family members, community leaders, and well-wishers to express gratitude to God for Ms. Acheampong’s recovery following what was described as a critical “hole in heart” surgery.
Hon. Sadik, who attended the service alongside the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Constituency Chairman, popularly known as Chairman Koo Broni, revealed that both had earlier contributed financially to support the life-saving procedure.
Also present at the event were the Presiding Member for Ahafo Ano South West, Hon. Paul Kwesi Amegboe, the DCE’s wife, and relatives of Ms. Acheampong, all of whom joined in the celebration and offered prayers of thanksgiving.
Speaking at the gathering, Hon. Sadik emphasized the importance of community support in times of medical emergencies and reaffirmed his commitment to the welfare of constituents, particularly in matters concerning health.
The event was marked by songs of praise, prayers, and testimonies, reflecting the community’s collective relief and joy over Ms. Acheampong’s successful recovery.
