Residents along the Kumasi–Obuasi Highway have commended Kofi Job Constructions Limited for the quality and pace of ongoing rehabilitation works on the Kumasi–Anwiankwanta stretch of the road.

The contractor, which resumed work a few weeks ago, has made significant progress, particularly with the construction of drainage systems to improve stormwater flow and protect the road infrastructure.

The drainage works have also restored access to sections of the highway that had become difficult to use, making them motorable once again and easing movement for motorists.

Some residents, in an interview with OTEC News, expressed appreciation to President John Dramani Mahama for ensuring that work on the project has resumed after a long delay.
They noted that the improvements have brought relief to commuters, transport operators and traders who depend on the highway for their daily activities.
The residents appealed to the government and the contractor to maintain the current momentum to ensure the timely completion of the project, which they believe will boost transportation and economic activities in the area.
