A leading grassroots activist of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Hamdeeyah Mohammed, has officially declared her intention to contest for the position of Deputy Women’s Organiser for the Atwima Nwabiagya South Constituency, promising to strengthen the party’s women’s wing through unity, development and empowerment.
The aspiring constituency executive has begun rallying support from delegates and party faithful ahead of the constituency elections, with a campaign message centred on inclusiveness, grassroots mobilisation and increased opportunities for women within the party.
Campaign materials released by Madam Hamdeeyah carry the slogan “Unity, Development, Empowerment,” reflecting what she describes as the three pillars that will guide her leadership if entrusted with the position.
According to supporters, she has consistently demonstrated commitment to the ideals of the NDC and has remained actively involved in constituency activities, contributing to membership mobilisation and community engagement.
Her bid, they believe, is driven by a desire to deepen collaboration among women in the constituency while creating an enabling environment for greater participation of young women in party activities.
Speaking through her campaign message, Hamdeeyah Mohammed appealed to delegates to give her the opportunity to serve as Deputy Women’s Organiser, assuring them of a leadership style based on teamwork, respect and dedication.
