A/R:Sir John Donates Hygienic Materials To 9 Hospitals To Fight Coronavirus

The Chief Executive Officer of Forestry Commission,Mr.Kwadwo Owusu Afriyie , popularly known as Sir John has donated hygienic equipment to nine hospitals in the Ashanti region  to fight the dreaded Coronavirus Pandemic.
 
The move by Sir John is to assist frontline health workers in the Country to help fight the disease.
The items donated included gallons of hand Sanitizers, pieces of nose mask and Veronica buckets
 
Speaking on behalf of Sir John during the donation yesterday,Mr.Ekow Vincent aspiring NPP parliamentary candidate for Tafo constituency noted that the donation was part of president Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo Addo’s preventive measures to fight the virus.
 
Beneficiary hospitals included St Joseph hospital at Abira , Mamponteng Polyclinic, Asonomaso government hospital, Sakra Wonoo clinic,Ankaase Methodist hospital,Asamang SDA hospital, Tafo government hospital , Tafo Methodist clinic and Kwadaso SDA hospital all in the Ashanti region.
 
 Dr. Emmanuel Wiafe Antwi ,Dr.at St. Joseph hospital, Abira, thanked Sir John and his team for the donation and promised to embark on mass education to ensure that Ghanaians are free from the virus.
