Abdul Ganiu Cisse, former Constituency organizer for Subin has officially declared his intention to contest the Subin Constituency chairmanship of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), urging delegates to rally behind his candidature as the party prepares for its internal elections.

Mr. Cisse, who is campaigning under Ballot Number 3, is seeking the mandate of party delegates to lead the NDC’s constituency organisation in Subin, a key political constituency in the Ashanti Region.

His campaign has adopted the slogan, “Vote for No. 3,” as the central message of his bid, with promotional materials designed in the party’s traditional red, green and black colours.

The campaign poster features a smiling Mr. Cisse dressed in white, with his arms folded, alongside a prominent display of his ballot number and the position he is seeking.

The emphasis on Ballot Number 3 forms part of the campaign’s effort to make his candidature easily identifiable to delegates when they cast their ballots.

CHAIRMANSHIP CONTEST.

The Subin Constituency chairmanship is one of the important positions within the NDC’s constituency-level leadership structure, with the successful candidate expected to provide direction for the party’s activities and strengthen its grassroots organisation.

The constituency chairman plays a central role in coordinating party executives, mobilising members, resolving internal disputes and ensuring effective communication between the constituency, regional and national leadership.

The position also comes with the responsibility of building party unity, strengthening structures at the polling-station level and preparing members for future electoral contests.

For Mr. Cisse, the contest presents an opportunity to seek the confidence of delegates to lead the party’s affairs in Subin.

BALLOT NO. 3 CAMPAIGN.

The candidate’s campaign has placed considerable emphasis on his ballot number, with supporters expected to use the slogan to promote his candidature among eligible delegates.

The “Vote for No. 3” message is intended to give the campaign a simple and recognisable identity as the constituency elections approach.

Ballot identification is often an important feature of internal party elections, where candidates seek to ensure that their supporters can easily identify their preferred choices on voting day.

Mr. Cisse’s campaign is therefore expected to focus on communicating his ballot number and candidature to delegates as the race gathers momentum.

GRASSROOTS MOBILISATION.

The outcome of the constituency elections is expected to shape the organisation and direction of the NDC in Subin ahead of future political engagements.

The elected chairman will be expected to work with other constituency executives to strengthen party structures, maintain discipline and encourage active participation among members.

Effective grassroots mobilisation, cooperation among party officers and the ability to manage competing interests are among the responsibilities associated with the position.

The contest also offers delegates an opportunity to select the leadership they believe can best advance the party’s interests and strengthen its presence within the constituency.

THE ROAD AHEAD.

As campaigning continues, Mr. Cisse’s supporters are expected to intensify efforts to communicate his candidature and ballot number to delegates ahead of the polls.

His campaign message remains centred on securing the mandate to become the next Subin Constituency Chairman of the NDC.

However, details of his proposed policies, previous positions held within the party, professional background and specific plans for the constituency have yet to be established for publication.

The date of the constituency elections, the official list of contestants and the arrangements governing the polls also require confirmation.

The contest will ultimately be decided by eligible delegates, whose votes will determine who assumes leadership of the NDC in Subin.

For now, Mr. Cisse’s message to the electorate is straightforward: ‘Vote Ballot Number 3’.
