Ade Napoleon Promises ‘Ade Care’ For Elderly In Asokwa

National Democratic Congress (NDC) Constituency Chairman aspirant for Asokwa in the Ashanti Region, Ade Napoleon, has pledged to establish a special welfare initiative dubbed “Ade Care” to cater for the needs of elderly people in the constituency when elected chairman.
According to him, the initiative would focus on the health, welfare and general wellbeing of aged members of the constituency, particularly those who may require assistance to access basic healthcare and other essential support.
Mr Napoleon made the pledge at his campaign launch in Asokwa yesterday, where he outlined his vision and programmes for the constituency ahead of the upcoming NDC constituency elections.
He said the welfare of the elderly should be treated as a priority, stressing that they had contributed significantly to the development of their families, communities and the NDC over the years and therefore deserved to be supported in their later years.
He explained that Ade Care would provide a structured platform through which elderly members could receive support and attention to their welfare and health needs.
The initiative, he indicated, would not only seek to respond to health-related concerns but also promote social support for elderly members who might be facing difficulties.
Mr Napoleon said his vision was to build a constituency administration that would put people at the centre of its programmes and ensure that party members benefited from practical initiatives rather than promises.
He noted that the elderly remained an important part of the party’s history and had played their part in nurturing the NDC at the grassroots level.
“They have sacrificed for the party and for our communities, and it is our responsibility to ensure that they are not neglected,” he said.
The chairman aspirant further promised to work closely with party executives, supporters, health professionals and other stakeholders to make the initiative sustainable if given the mandate.
He said Ade Care would form part of a broader welfare agenda aimed at improving the lives of NDC members and strengthening the bond between the constituency leadership and the grassroots.
Mr Napoleon also called on delegates to support his candidature, assuring them that his administration would be accessible, responsive and committed to addressing the concerns of party members.
He said his decision to contest the chairmanship position was driven by the desire to provide effective leadership and introduce programmes that would have a direct impact on the lives of members.
He urged delegates to look beyond political rhetoric and support a candidate with a clear vision and practical plans for the development of the constituency.
Mr Napoleon assured the delegates that, if elected, he would work with all stakeholders to build a united and vibrant NDC in Asokwa capable of mobilising strongly for the party’s electoral fortunes.
He said the success of the NDC in future elections would depend largely on the strength of its grassroots structures and the welfare of its members.
The establishment of Ade Care, he said, would therefore be one of the practical steps towards building a more caring and responsive constituency organisation.
He appealed to all members and supporters to unite behind the party’s grassroots structures and work together to ensure victory for the NDC in the 2028 general elections.
