Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, the 2024 running mate to Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, has donated a substantial amount of GHC150,000 and 600 bags of cement to the victims of the Adum fire.

This generous donation comes after Dr. Prempeh, also known as “Napo,” toured the fire scene and expressed his concern about the situation.

During his visit, Napo instructed the Member of Parliament for Manhyia South, Lawyer Baffour Awuah, to disburse GHC100,000 from the MP’s common fund to support the affected individuals.

Additionally, Napo personally donated GHC50,000 and 500 bags of cement.

The MP for Manhyia South further contributed 100 bags of cement, bringing the total to 600 bags.

Napo’s donation is a significant gesture of support to the Adum fire victims, who have lost their livelihoods and properties in the devastating blaze. His advice to the affected individuals to unite and ensure that all those affected receive support without discrimination is particularly noteworthy.

It’s worth mentioning that Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the presidential candidate of the New Patriotic Party, had also donated GHC200,000 and 1,000 bags of cement to the Adum fire victims .

These donations demonstrate the commitment of Ghana’s leaders to supporting those in need and rebuilding communities affected by disasters.

The Adum fire incident has highlighted the importance of community support and solidarity in times of crisis. As the affected individuals begin to rebuild their lives, it is essential that they receive the necessary support and resources to overcome this challenging period.
