The Kessben Media Ace Journalist, Augustine Appau ( Agya Nuro) has been awarded by Willingway Foundation Situated at Ejisu Municipality of the Ashanti region.
The award which was in a form of Citation was given to Agya Nuro for his outstanding reports on Mental Health.
According to the management of the Willingway Foundation, for about 12 years they had an encounter with Agya Nuro, his dedication and contributions towards the centre has been tremendous hence the award.
Willingway Foundation is a Non governmental Organisations that seek to educate people especially the youth on Drug abuse and other mental related diseases.
In an interview with the Director of the said Foundation Madam Abena Manu Freeman after the presentations, she urged other media houses and media personalities to always seek the need to report on the mental health and drug abuse.
She narrated, drugs such us ” Wee” Cocaine, Tramadol and others is destroying the lives of the youth so she is urging the media to use their platforms to talk about the implications of drug abuse and how it is damaging their precious lives.
Agya Nuro, after receiving the award thanked the management of the Willingway Foundation for such a wonderful award.
He further thanked Mr. Stephen Boateng ( Kwabena Kesse) the CEO for Kessben Group of Companies for given him the opportunity and the platform to showcase his talent that has yielded this fruit.
