The Member of Parliament for Amenfi Central in the Western Region , Hon. Joana Gyan Cudjoe, has demonstrated her commitment to inclusive development by undertaking a remarkable initiative to support persons with disabilities in the district.
In collaboration with the Amenfi Central District Assembly and the Department of Social Welfare, Hon. Cudjoe has donated essential items and resources to physically challenged individuals in the district.
The official donation ceremony took place on Wednesday, August 13, 2025, at 10 am at the Amenfi Central District Capital.
Items donated included wheel chairs, fufu pounding machines, fridges and an amount of cash .
About forty-six persons benefited.
The initiative aims to improve the lives of persons with disabilities by providing them with essential items and resources to enhance their standard of living.
