Mr. Oscar Ofori Larbi, Parliamentary Candidate for Aowin constituency on the ticket of NDC in the western north region and former District Chief Executive (DCE)of the area has donated Hygienic equipment worth ghc10,000 to the good people of Enchi and it’s catchment areas to fight the dreaded Coronavirus Pandemic that has hit the entire world.
Items donated to the constituency included varonica buckets,hand Sanitizers, liquid soaps,tissues , among other things.
The move is to help his people to adopt Hygienic measures in order not to be infected by the novel COVID-19
Speaking in an interview with the Punch last weekend,Mr Larbi said it was his desire as former DCE to see major roads linking the capital of the Municipality Enchi, more accessible to aid the transportation of farm produce, other commodities such as cocoa beans, to the various marketing centers and also attract investors to ensure accelerated sustainable development
“The poor state of the road affects the socio-economic lives of the citizenry, hence the urgent need to re-gravel and re-sharp for the meantime,” he said.
Mr Larbi said the deplorable state of the road was also discouraging vehicles and trucks from plying that route which had affected trading in the area.
According to him,his coming back as the next MP of the area will help fetch more developmental projects to the good people of Aowin.
He therefore, appealed to the people of Aowin to rally behind him to enable them enter parliament in 2020 to enable him continue the good works he has been doing over the years.
