A section of residents of Kuntenase in the Bosomtwe District in the Ashanti region have indicated that, the lack of substantive Chief in the area has been a hindrance to the development of the community. They say, the community has been without any developmental project after 14 years without a substantive Chief. Spokesperson for the residents, Mr Kwame Kwarteng who doubles as the “Abusuapanin” of the “Adako” royal family disclosed to the media in an interview at a press conference that, lawlessness has been the order of the day as the community lacks leadership to spearhead the community. They have expressed their worries about this situation and are therefore appealing to the Asantehene to help enstool a Chief in the community for development. He added that, the man that they voted for him, does not qualify to becoming a chief at Kuntenase. They are appealing to Otumfuo Osei Tutu II to allowed them to bring somebody from Adako family to be a new chief for Kuntenase Community. Source :broadcastergh.com /Akoko Asense
