However, these claims are entirely false. In fact, the interview being referenced was actually granted by the Regional Chairman, and even with that, none of the issues being attributed to it are accurate.
The office of the Regional Minister reiterates that Dr. Amoakohene was engaged in an official meeting at the time of the alleged incident and had no knowledge of any disturbances. His priority remains the peace and development of the Ashanti Region, and he is fully committed to upholding law and order.
Dr. Amoakohene, a respected medical professional and youth leader, was appointed as Ashanti Regional Minister on January 15, 2025, to foster growth and progress in the region—not to incite chaos.
