Dr. Frank Amoakohene, the Ashanti Regional Minister, has been accused by Nana Nkasah Boadu of orchestrating chaos at the Ashanti Regional Council of State election. However, the office of the Regional Minister has vehemently denied these allegations, emphasizing that Dr. Amoakohene has never met or interacted with Nana Nkasah Boadu and has no involvement in the alleged incident.

Reports circulating claim that Nana Nkasah Boadu alleged on Hello FM that Dr. Amoakohene brought in thugs from Obuasi to cause mayhem during the sorting of the Council of State election. However, these claims are entirely false. In fact, the interview being referenced was actually granted by the Regional Chairman, and even with that, none of the issues being attributed to it are accurate.

The office of the Regional Minister reiterates that Dr. Amoakohene was engaged in an official meeting at the time of the alleged incident and had no knowledge of any disturbances. His priority remains the peace and development of the Ashanti Region, and he is fully committed to upholding law and order.

Dr. Amoakohene, a respected medical professional and youth leader, was appointed as Ashanti Regional Minister on January 15, 2025, to foster growth and progress in the region—not to incite chaos. His office assures the public that he will not engage in any activities that undermine the stability of the region.
