The Ashanti Regional Minister, Dr. Frank Amoakohene, yesterday received a delegation from Manhyia Palace who formally informed him of the passing of the Asantehemaa, Nana Konadu Yiadom III.
On behalf of President John Dramani Mahama and the Government of Ghana, Dr. Amoakohene extended deepest condolences to His Majesty Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, the Royal Family, and the people of Asanteman.
Nana Konadu Yiadom III’s life was marked by her dedication to her people, showcasing remarkable grace and wisdom. Her Majesty’s contributions to the Ashanti Kingdom and Ghana will be deeply missed. “The Asantehemaa’s life was one of grace, wisdom, and dedicated service to her people. Her passing is a great loss to our region and our nation. May her soul rest in perfect peace,” Dr. Amoakohene stated.
