Dr. Frank Amoakohene, the Ashanti Regional Minister, has emphasized the importance of planning in achieving success.
Speaking at the NUGS Conclave at AAMUSTED yesterday, Dr. Amoakohene shared his personal experience of writing a plan, “Vision 2022,” at the age of 22.
The plan outlined his goals in five key areas: academics, leadership, church and music, family and marriage, and finances.
Dr. Amoakohene achieved about 75% of his goals, demonstrating the effectiveness of planning in achieving success.
Dr. Amoakohene encouraged young people to write down their plans, starting small, keeping it simple, and making it realistic. He emphasized that planning helps individuals stay focused and overcome challenges.
Dr. Amoakohene quoted Benjamin Franklin, “If you fail to plan, you are planning to fail.” This quote highlights the importance of planning in achieving one’s goals.
Dr. Amoakohene’s message serves as a reminder to young people of the importance of planning in achieving success. By setting clear goals and working towards them, individuals can overcome challenges and achieve their aspirations.
