Ashanti Regional Minister Urges BECE Candidates to be Courageous, visits centers at Ahafo Ano South -West, Atwima nwabiagya North

The Ashanti Regional Minister, Dr. Frank Amoakohene, has advised the 120,285 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) candidates in the region to be courageous and avoid examination malpractices.

Out of this figure, 59,999 are males with 60,286 females

Dr. Amoakohene gave this advice during a monitoring exercise at various examination centers in the Ahafo Ano South West and Atwima Nwabiagya North districts.

Focus on Areas of Interest.

The Minister encouraged the candidates to focus on areas of their interest and put in more effort to pass, emphasizing that their future aspirations depend on how they utilize their time in education.

He reminded them that the BECE is a crucial step in their academic journey and that hard work, seriousness, and dedication to their studies are essential for success.

Opportunities for Success.

Dr. Amoakohene assured the candidates that President John Dramani Mahama is committed to providing opportunities for those who pass and pass well after the BECE. He encouraged them to engage in group discussions, sharing ideas on topics related to their subjects and syllabus, to prepare themselves for the examinations.

Support for Candidates.

During his visit, Dr. Amoakohene donated pens and mathematical sets to the candidates at the various centers. He urged them not to panic but to ask invigilators for clarification on any issues that may arise during the examination.

The Minister’s message to the candidates was clear: with hard work, determination, and a positive attitude, they can achieve success in their BECE and set themselves up for a bright future. By staying focused and avoiding examination malpractices, the candidates can demonstrate their academic abilities and take the first step towards achieving their goals.
