The Ashanti Regional Minister, Dr. Frank Amoakohene, had the distinct honor of welcoming His Majesty the King of Eswatini to the Ashanti Region yesterday. The King was accompanied by a delegation from Manhyia, led by Nana Otuo Serebuo, the Juabenhene.
Dr. Amoakohene was joined by the Regional Security Council (REGSEC) in extending warm greetings to the King and his delegation.
In his welcome remarks, the Minister emphasized the importance of strengthening the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA), a vision that His Majesty holds dear.

During his visit, the King is scheduled to join the National House of Chiefs and visit Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, the Asantehene, at the Manhyia Palace. These engagements are expected to strengthen cultural ties between Ghana and Eswatini.
