The Ashanti Regional Minister, Dr. Frank Amoakohene, and the Asokore Mampong Municipal Assembly headed by Ben Abdallah Alhassan (MCE) alongside Hon Muntaka Mubarak Mohammed,the interior minister have paid their last respects to the late Asokore Mamponghene, Nana Boakye Ansah Debrah , with a generous donation of GHC 60,000 towards the final funeral rites.
Dr. Frank Amoakohene donated GHC 30,000 to support the funeral, while the Asokore Mampong Municipal Assembly contributed GHC 20,000, accompanied by assorted drinks and water.
The interior minister also made GHC10, 000 donation.
The donations demonstrate the esteem in which the late chief was held and the commitment to ensuring a dignified farewell.
Gracing the final funeral rites today , Dr. Frank Amoakohene expressed his heartfelt condolences to the family of the late Asokore Mamponghene. He emphasized the significance of the occasion and the need to honor the legacy of the departed chief.
The final funeral rites mark the culmination of a period of mourning and celebration of the life of Nana Boakye Ansah, who passed away in March 2025. The occasion brought together dignitaries, family members, and well-wishers to pay their last respects to the late chief.
