The Ashanti Regional NPP 2nd Vice Chairperson,Hon Victoria Owusu-Achiaw aka “Ɔbaa womu a, ɛyɛ “in collaboration with Frank Kapo Foundation has organized free health screening for the people of Kwamang in the Bekwai Municipality of the Ashanti Region
The screening, held on Monday, March 6,2023 at Bekwai-Kwamang was an initiative that seeks to offer health care for community members who may find it difficult to pay for such health screenings.
Hon Victoria Owusu-Achiaw disclosed that the health needs of the people are important to her hence the decision to organize a free health screening.
“My aim is to spearhead projects that would benefit the community members and also the free medical screening is an initiative targeted towards that course,”she said.

Medical Officer, KNUST Hospital who was the doctor in charge of the health screening also added that those who showed up for the exercise and were diagnosed with diseases were given sound medical advice while others receive free drugs.
He however called upon all and sundry to exercise their bodies and check their health status regularly to stay healthy.
Some of the community members who showed up for the exercise praised Hon Victoria Owusu-Achiaw aka “Obaa womu a, ɛyɛ ” for the initiative.
