As part of precautionary measures to avoid untimely fire outbreak which is driving innocent souls to early graves, the Assembly member for Akyeremade Kwanwoma and Behenase electoral area in the Atwima Kwanwoma District in the Ashanti Region, Hon Justice Baffour Awuah widely known as ‘HON BOMPIN’ in collaboration with the Ghana National Fire Service on Sunday,22nd January 2023 extended its massive fire sensitization programm to churches in the area on how to fight domestic fire ourselves
The purpose for this exercise is to bring domestic fire fighting techniques or education to the doorsteps of each and every individuals in the area.
The fire sensitization programme which started about a month ago on all the information centers was self initiated programme by the Dynamic,precarious and hard working hon Baffour Awuah BOMPIN.
The exercise was extended to some churches such as, The Church of Pentecost,Fountain of Life Assemblies of God,Akyeremade and will continue to other churches and organizations in the area.
The congregation were taken through on how to basic domestic actions that can breed fire outbreak and how to quickly curb or avert it if such incident occured and how to combat fire outbreak and it early detection in our homes.
With him was Mr John Kofi Minkah ,Atwima Kwanwoma District Fire Officer.
In an interview with Hon Assembly member made the disclosure that he is using his office to provide teachers bungalow to all the head teachers in the government schools calling on all old students and philanthropists to support the project since education is one of his major priorities.
