The Chief of Afrancho,a community in the Afigya Kwabre South District of Ashanti Region, Nana Asumadu Poku, has advised traditional authorities to attach the necessary values and dignity to the stools they occupy.
According to him, chiefs are expected to lead exemplary lives and act as models to people in their traditional areas and the country at large.
Nana Asumadu Poku, gave the advice, when he installed three persons as sub-chiefs for the Afrancho traditional area.
The chiefs, include Nana Kwabena Adusei, Kyidomhene, Nana Sarhene as the Linquist and Nana Abenaa Serwaa as Dwantoahemaa.
Nana Asumadu Poku was grateful to the unflinching support from the residents towards the enstoolment of the four sub-chiefs.
According to him, such support indicates the confidence reposted in them by the community.
Nana Asumadu Poku therefore urged the sub-chiefs to lead lives worthy of emulation and desist from acts which could breed violence.
