NDC Parliamentary Candidate for Atwima Nwabiagya North Constituency ,Hon Mba Zakaria has donated building materials to rehabilitate Asamang D/A Basic School.
The donation was made to help the PTA reshape the school building from it deplorable state.
The workaholic politician singlehandedly purchased the building materials which included 20 bags of cement and roofing sheets to roof the dilapidated nature of the school building and also use the cement for the needed construction workers on the poor structure of the school.
The NDC Parliamentary Candidate for the area also reshaped the bad nature of the school pitch and also reshaped the bad state of roads linking to the school and also promised to construct an ultramodern storey building furnished with modern learning equipment for the school.
The motive of the foregoing development is to make education palatable for pupils in Asamang community and Atwima Nwabiagya North Constituency at large.
Speaking at a short but colourful ceremony to hand over the building materials to authorities of the school this morning,Hon.Mba Zakaria appealed to staff and students who may exercise their franchise in December 2024 to vote him and former President John Dramani Mahama to power for massive infrastructural development.
According to him,the donation wasn’t targeted for votes but he believes in quality education and equal opportunities for all.
He revealed that, Asamang community is his home and wouldn’t sit down unconcerned for pupils to receive formal instructions from a dilapidated structure.
This he said wouldn’t serve his memory well because he’s a Ghanaian and a father for all.
Mba Zakaria was of the view that, NDC can only do well with the provision of developmental projects and jobs to the people only when it is in power and has the resources.
If Ghanaians want alot of development and jobs then we should all vote massively for the NDC and with him as the next Member of Parliament for Atwima Nwabiagya North.
“Atwima Nwabiagya North Constituency is lacking behind in terms of physical developmental projects.
There’s no good road , portal drinking water, quality education,jobs among others because we don’t have a development orientated person as our Member of Parliament.
We have had NPP person as our MP for the past 20 years but we can’t even boast of a toilet facility as a Constituency,all in the name of NPP.
Our youth are unemployed,no good hospital, insecurity among others.”He noted.
“My administration will see to the construction of good roads, quality education, good hospitals , construction of teacher’s bungalow to make teacher’s lives better.”He promised .
Receiving the items on behalf of the school, Madam Veronica Addei Nyantakyi , Headmistress of the school thanked Hon MBA Zakaria and the NDC party for coming to the rescue of the school.
She said the donation will go a long way to prevent the pupils from studying under trees.
She promised to use the materials judiciously for it intended purpose.
