Atwima Nwabiagya South Embarks on Clean-Up Exercise to Promote Healthy Living

The Municipal Chief Executive for Atwima Nwabiagya South in the Ashanti region, Wisdom Osei Boamah, led a clean-up exercise at Nkawie, the municipal capital, to clean the corridors of the community. The exercise, which took place yesterday, aimed to make the municipal capital free from filth and promote healthy living among residents.

Speaking to the media after the exercise, Hon. Wisdom Osei Boamah encouraged members of the community to always participate in communal labour for the betterment of their communities.

He emphasized that the President’s commitment to sanitation is evident in the government’s efforts to clean various communities every month. The MCE’s initiative is in line with the government’s policy to promote healthy living and prevent diseases.

The clean-up exercise was a resounding success, with residents coming out in large numbers to participate.
