Bechem Traditional Council in the Tano South Municipality in the Ahafo Region has today Thursday, 14th September, 2023 confirmed the death of Omanhene of Bechem Traditional Area who was a Member of Ahafo Regional Council of Chiefs, Nana Fosu Gyabour Akwafo Akoto II.
Addressing the Media and the general public today at Bechem Traditional Council Palace, the Akyeamehene, Nana Adu Mensah who briefed the media said ,the sudden passing on of the late Bechem manhene has created a great vacuum at the traditional council, leaving them a big blow and worry as a council.
The chiefs, residents and the entire people in Ahafo Region got shock of the sad news of the late Paramount chief whose numerous contributions enhanced the developmental status of Bechem and also played a pivotal role during the creation of the Ahafo Region which has become an indelible ink they cannot forget.
He therefore assured residents, organizations, individuals and stakeholders to be calm and adhere to the regulations laid down by the Bechem Traditional Council before, during and after the late Omanhene’s One Week observation.
