An Accra commercial court has today 2nd November,2020 maintained an Interlocutory suit against the electoral commission by Nana Agyenim Boateng, flagbearer of the United Front Party (UFP), for disqualifying him from the 7 December 2020 presidential race.
Nana Agyenim Boateng , popularly known in political circles as ‘Gyataba’ was one of the five presidential aspirants who were disqualified in the race.
The EC said the UFP flagbearer’s nomination had fake signatures on it, thus, his disqualification.
Gyataba, however, denied the allegation in various interviews.
According to him, the court granted an injunction on the EC’s processes until 2 November 2020 where the judge presiding over the case told the court today that final judgement would be made next week Monday, 9/11/2020.
