Residents of Deduako and Apemso electoral area in Oforikrom municipality of the Ashanti region have received various gift items from their assembly member, Hon. Richard Nyarko.
The assembly representative for three communities, Deduako, Apemso, and Kodiekrom, Hon. Richard Nyarko, in his annual voluntary presentation to his community members brought together over 300 widows and widowers, the aged, and people in need of various form of support to receive items like; Hair dryers, Sowing machine, clothing, and food items such as, Mackerel, Rice and oil.
A set of 10 desktop computers were also delivered to the Deduako M/A JHS as Hon. Richard Nyarko pledges his commitment to adding more computers in subsequent days. The headmistress of the school, Mrs. Margret Amoako who received the computers expressed her profound gratitude to the assembly member as well as residents who received gift of items worth over GHS40.000 cedis.
Hon. Richard Nyarko, in addressing his community members,thanked the aged for honoring his invitation, especially, for their support in prayers. He expressed his joy for having them alive to seeing the new year(2023). “I therefore, would like to show my appreciation and gratitude to you all by presenting something small to each and everyone, especially, the aged as a mark of a good leader. And I urge you all to accept my little contribution with good heart since it’s coming from my own pocket.”
He, concluded by calling on the Electoral commission to further demarcate big electoral ereas such as his for proper management and spread of development in communities. And also urge his residents in the various communities to be security conscious as he wishes them a productive joyful new year.
