Chairman Nana Kwasi, Ashanti Regional Chairman of the biggest opposition party,NDC, has descended heavily on Majority leader, Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu and other NPP MPs who have forgone their Parliamentary duties and are following Dr Mahamodu Bawumia in his Ashanti Regional tour in Kumasi today.
According to him,he sees no sense in the move and asked them to bow down their heads in shame.
He was of the view that , he can’t understand why people are chastising the minority MPs for boycotting Parliamentary sittings today and accompanying Hon.James Gyakye Quayson in court .
He said, the majority MPs should rather be chastised for their childish decision by always following Dr Mahamodu Bawumia in everywhere he went simply because of getting fame .
“The majority leader who’s supposed to organize his people in doing government business in parliament is now the lead convey of Dr Mahamodu Bawumia.
He should be ashamed of himself and explain to Ghanaians why he’s chosing Bawumia ahead of the people of Suame constituency and Ghana at large.”He further indicated.
