Dr. Michael Adusei, an American based businessman and a philanthropist has built and Commissioned a 14 Seater Toilet facility for Agogo Presby Basic School in honor of Nana Afrakumah Serwaah Kusi Obuosdum , the Agogo manhemaa upon her request to get a public place of convenient for the students and teachers of the Presby cluster of schools.
According to him, his response to the Queen mother follows the willingness and always committed to contribute his quota and given back to the society towards the development of where he started life.
He is of the view that, the facility is aimed at reducing open defecation to improve clean environment and prevent cholera.
Dr. Michael Adusei is M.D. Diplomate, the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, owner and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Reflective Minds Health LLC, expressed his profound gratitude to Mr. Osei Kofi, his uncle who took him from the grassroot through Education to the USA for the support and motivation through his life.
Nana Afrakumah Serwaah Kusi Obuosdum,the Queen mother of Agogo also commended Dr. Adusei for the kind gesture done the schools and Agogo township as a whole.
She took the opportunity to urged all the citizens of Agogo both home and the diaspora to emulate the shining example of Dr. Adusei to build and develop Agogo together through their individual’s and corporate Organizations.
Hon. Kwadwo Baah Agyemang the former Member of Parliament (MP) for Asante Akyem North constituency in the ticket of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) who set for a comeback, also lauded Dr. Adusei for the philanthropic and Selfishness spirit to single handedly build the facility towards improving the living standards of the residents.
He entreated other stakeholders to also emulate his philanthropic spirit to help build the society, because the government alone can not do it without the support and contributions of the citizenry.
