Businessman, Mr Samuel Adongo famously known as Sammy Adongo, has declared his intention to be a parliamentary candidate for New Juaben North Constituency in the Eastern region on the ticket of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
Sammy Adongo after a successful vetting, he will be a parliamentary candidate for New Juaben North Constituency.
‘‘I Samuel Adongo hereby declare that I intend to contest as a parliamentary candidate for New Juaben North Constituency in the general elections. I further declare that I am legally qualified to serve under provisions of the NDC constituency,’’ Sammy Adongo disclosed.
Samuel Adongo added that he is coming to change the history of the NDC in Constituency with policies and programs that seek to improve the livelihood of constituents when given the nod.
Speaking to Nhyiraba Nartey Solomon of Koforidua based Bryt FM, Samuel Adongo stated categorically that he is not contesting the parliamentary seat because of selfish interest but rather to fight for the development of the constituents.
“It is time for electorates to vote for an NDC candidate to help change the face of politics in the New Juaben North Constituency”, he added.
Meanwhile, there is purported information that the Eastern Regional Minister,Mr. Seth Kwame Acheampong would also be contesting the parliamentary seat on the ticket of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) for New Juaben North Constituency.
