The Ashanti regional communication officer of NDC has described EC officials in region as “Electoral Armed Robbers”.
This follow their deliberate padding of figures from the Ashanti region during the first phase of the ongoing registration figures.
In the first 6 days of the registration process,our records show that 393,000 were registered in the Ashanti region but the EC published 423,000,an addition of 30,000 votes which they could not account for.
After raising the alarm,the EC officials are claiming that the bloated figures are a mistake on their part.
But we in the Ashanti region is demanding that the Ec comes out with the right figures so that it would be a matter of public record.
