Earlier today, the Ashanti Regional zongo caucus of the National Democratic Congress, headed by Alhaji Sumaila Futa Ali, Hon. Mahmoud (Let Them say) and Sir TJ toured Manhyia North constituency in the Ashanti region to see how far the phase three of the ID cards registration is faring.
Members were enthused, as majority of their people have been registered ahead of 2020 polls during the visit.
The team, was greeted by party faithfuls and sympathizers, who were chanting and singing praise songs for the come back of His Excellency John Dramani Mahama.
The Ashanti Regional Zongo Caucus coordinator Alhaji futa, during the tour reassured members of the come back of JM for the continuation of infrastructural development.
“The NDC has done so well for the people of zongos. We have sacrificed for the well being of our people and it will be very disastrous, to entrust again our sovereign rights in the hands of this wicked, looters, tribal bigots and above all inept government” he reiterated!
The Zongo Caucus toured almost 5 polling stations within the Manhyia North constituency.
The tour ended in grace as majority of the people within the zongo communities pledged their support to NDC and John Mahama.
