ECG Announces Planned Maintenance at Akyease and Fawoade Primary Substations

The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) has notified its district managers and stakeholders that a scheduled maintenance exercise will be conducted at the Akyease Primary Substation and Bus 1 at the Fawoade Primary Substation in the Kwabre East Municipality of the Ashanti Region.

The maintenance, which is set to take place soon, aims to enable the Sub-Transmission Line Maintenance Team to repair a broken jumper on the Akyease 2 line at the OX point.

The primary objective of this exercise is to ensure the reliability and efficiency of the power distribution system in the area.

By addressing the issue of the broken jumper, the ECG aims to prevent potential power outages and disruptions that could impact residents and businesses in the affected areas.
