Nana Kwame Asamoah-Boateng ,former District Chief Executive (DCE ) for Amansie Central in the Ashanti Region has donated school items worth GHC38,000 to free SHS Students in his District.
The donation was made to over fifty BECE /FSHS Students in his home town and surrounding communities including Afoako, Patase, Homasi and Asikasu, all in Amansie Central District.
Items donated included,Fifty (50) pieces of Trunk, fifty pieces of student’s mattress,fifty Pillows ,fifty chop Boxes and 50 packs each of verna water alongside soft drinks.
The total cost is estimated at a whooping Ghc 38,000.00.
The motive was to support students to have access to free education without any blemish.
He used the advantage to advise students to take their education serious which he believes is the sure way to success.
