Mr.Mike Gizo, gospel music producer has made it clear that gospel music of today is not encouraging.
According to him,gospel music of today is full of terminologies coupled with jokes and played when there’s beef between one another.
But said, gospel music according to the will of God shouldn’t be so.
Mr.Mike Gizo made this known during an album launch by Minister Appiah in Kumasi last Sunday.
The music was produced by ‘The Word Music Production’with the tittle “I’m glued unto you”
Speaking after the launch of the album,Mr.Mike Gizo hinted that ,he begun to produce Minister Appiah upon his realization that the sale of CDs by musicians , especially gospel music had gone done .
According to him , because of the difficulties ,minister Appiah switched from the gospel music and joined the movie producers to aid them in singing the movie sound track but haven’t known him for long time about his performance in the gospel music there was the need for him to support minister Appiah.
He said ,the aim is to write good gospel music for him,give him financial support and ensure that things work out.
The idea was to have an annual project to bring a change in the gospel industry.
The aim is to get the presence of the Lord that will make a difference in the gospel music.
Minister Appiah however used the opportunity to appeal to the government to support the music industry in order for them to have good music.
