Ms.Jennifer Owusu Afriyie,a planning, monitoring and evaluation officer at the Ghana Standard Authority has won two top awards at the just ended Ghana CEO’s and Industrial awards ceremony held in Accra.
The award categories which she won were Best Female in Planning and Project management of the year and also the overall female in legacy builder of the year.
The event which was organized by Kensvic communications was under the theme” Ghana’s Economic Development and the Future Young Entrepreneurs”.
According to Kensvic communications, the organising body of the maiden awards ceremony,the event sought to celebrate outstanding leadership and innovations in various sectors of the Ghanaian business landscape, bringing together CEO’s, industrial players, policy makers and emerging leaders.
The awards recognized and honored individuals and organizations which significantly have contributed towards the development of Ghana’s economy,this is according to them.
The awardee,Pln. Jennifer Owusu Afriyie aside being a staff of Ghana Standard Authority is also the vice chairperson of the Ghana Institute of Planners,Greater Accra chapter, a member of Ghana Institute of Planning, project management, a member of lsocrap international society of City, regional planners and Commonwealth association of planners.
Apart from being a member of the aforementioned associations and institutes, Jennifer Owusu Afriyie is also a member of Rotary club of Ghana and holds an executive position as chairperson of Rotary West Africa registration.
