The Majority Leader and Minister for Parliamentary Affairs, Hon Osei Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu, has advised muslims to invest their resources in their wards’ education to guarantee them a brighter future. This, he said, will also help Muslims especially the youth to inculcate the teachings in the Holy Quran into their lives . Hon Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu who is the Member of Parliament (MP) for Suame, gave the advice today during the celebration of the Eid-Ui-Fitr at Kronum in Kumasi. According to him, majority of muslims can not read and comprehend the good teachings in the Quoran. According to him, when majority of muslims are educated and can read and comprehend the teachings, it will go a long way to shape their behaviour to help promote peace in the country. He described muslims who indulge in chaotic acts as those who do not understand the Islamic teachings. The Majority Leader said Muslims and christians are not enemies and prayed for oneness between the two religions to help protect the peace in the country adding, Ghana is the most peaceful country in West Africa. Hon Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu urged Muslims to unceasingly pray for President Nana Addo Dankwah Akuffo Addo, and parliamentarians for God’s guidance to successfully steer the affairs of the country.
