NPP parliamentary candidate for Subin constituency, Lawyer Obiri Yeboah has flawed claims peddled against him by opposing independent candidate, JB Danquah.
He told the media after filing his nomination forms on Monday, 9th September, 2024 at the Ashanti regional office of the Electoral commission that, allegation made by his opponent (JB Danquah) that he is an alien to the constitutency is total fallacy and will amount to nothing.
“I was born and bread in this constituency. The people of Subin know me.
They know what I have done for this constitutency and they know the kind of person I am”.
Lawyer Obiri Yeboah fingered that “If we are talking about somebody who knows much about Subin Constituency, it should not be somebody(JB Danquah) who is living abroad doing security job and only shows up in the constitutency during electioneering period.
It must be somebody who lives with them, somebody who knows much about their welfare and that person is me.
I know what the people of Subin want.
I’m part of them.
I’ve been in Subin all my life and I know their problems.
I believe God will use me to solve the problems faced by this constitutency”.
The NPP parliamentary candidate described the independent candidate, J.B Danquah as a no much for him.
“I don’t even want to hear the name of the independent candidate because Subin is the stronghold of NPP.
J.B Danquah is not my focus because I don’t consider him part of this contest.
He will not get a single vote”, he told newsmen.
Lawyer Obiri Yeboah said his target is to win between 80-86 percent of the total votes come 2024 general elections.
“I want to assure you that this 80-86 percent target I am propagating will surely come to pass”.
