Some Concerned NPP Members in Kwadaso Constituency of the Ashanti region are mad over their superiors intention to change their old Constituency Album.
According to them ,they have intelligence that their Constituency executives want to change the album which will be used for their February elections.
The concerned group suspect that,if care is not taken their authorities will change the album in their favour.
They revealed that,since the old album has been used over the years for successful elections , they still prefer to use that same album for the February elections.
The group has therefore petitioned the Chairman of Council of Elders in the Constituency and the party chairman for the area on some intelligence they have gathered concerning the upcoming elections of the polling station executives and the album to be prepared before the elections.
According to the group, the rationale behind their petition was to call on the council of elders to ensure that the right thing is done before the stipulated date for the elections.
Mr Akwasi Oteng Domfe, Tanoso Polling Station Chairman , who is a leader of the group said, some of the executive members of the party in the constituency are preparing a new album which contravents to the laid down rules and guidelines of the party’s general secretary, John Boadu.
Mr.Domfe explained that, some coordinators of the party in the constituency are calling some known NPP Members to bring their passport photographs and ID cards details to be placed in the supposed album being prepared for the elections which he said was bad.
Their actions is to favour them to be maintained in their respective positions which is not going to happen today or tomorrow.
The aggrieved members are sending a clear signal to the leaders of the party to as a matter of urgency intervene and make the executives do the right thing before anything terrible happens.
