Headed by Nana Adwoa Boakyewaa,Chief Executive Officer Of Love After Lost Foundation has donated items worth GHC10,000 to the needy at Afrancho,a community in the Afigya Kwabre South District in the Ashanti Region.
Reasons for the donation was to put smile on the faces of those in need.
According to Nana Adwoa Boakyewaa,it was about time those who are well endowed financially need to cultivate the culture of supporting those who are in need in their various societies.
“Let us not think about the negative response that will come from the society after we donate.
Just give it out free from your heart and God will bless you because it is not human who will bless you when you do good but the most high God.”She stated .
She said ,the donation today wouldn’t be a nine day wonder but will be a continuous event that will help put smile on the faces of widows and orphans.
“I would entreat everybody in the society to help the foundation both cash and in kind to aid the foundation do more of it’s pending activities going forward.”She appealed.
Items donated included drinks, mineral water, merry making and at the end, bag of rice was donated to each participant.
The donation targeted only those who are in need.
“Helping the needy in a way we can is the motto of the foundation.
The foundation is aiming at feeding the needy at the Baba Yara sports stadium next year as it has targeted more than fifty thousand participants.”She Hinted
The donation was supported by,Dr.Kwaku Oteng, Chief Executive Officer Of Angel Group of Companies and Tepamanhene.
Nana Adwoa Boakyewaa was grateful to them for their Philanthropic work and prayed for more.
