A book titled: “Making Ghana the True Black Star of the World” has been launched at Bibiani, outlining 16 key ministries and 58 policies to drive economic growth and stability, to attract investors and boost Ghana’s global recognition.

The 382-page book with sixteen chapters provides a comprehensive analysis of policies and strategies to attract investors, promote developments, and project Ghana to the world.

It also critiqued past and present government administrations on policy implementation and advocated for a stable business environment for the private sector.

The book is authored by Mr Daniel Tamatey, a Ghanaian development expert, who doubles as the Civil Culture and Plantation Manager of Rainforest Builder Ghana.

He recommended some key ministerial areas of focus for policymakers to consider in consolidating Ghana’s development.

Mr Tamatey said the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, and Agribusiness alone had the potential to create about a million jobs for the Ghanaian youth, ensuring food sufficiency.

He questioned why Ghana imported onions, tomatoes, and rice from neighbouring countries like Burkina Faso and Co’te d’Ivoire, despite having the potential and climatic conditions to produce more.

He noted this would help curb the trend of youth seeking non-existent jobs abroad, particularly in countries like Dubai,Qatar,Kuwait, and Saudi Arabia

Mr Tamatey emphasised that sanitation was a significant industry that could provide energy and other products, and that Ghana’s major challenge laid in improper policy direction.

He recommended that the President, political party leaders, politicians, clergy, entrepreneurs, traditional authorities, and youth acquired a copy of his book for more insights on how to develop the country.
