Dr.MaMathew Opoku Prempeh , member of parliament for manhyia South Constituency in the Ashanti Region was gargantuanlly endorsed by Delegates in his Constituency over the weekend.
Napo, affectionately called, was made to understand that he is facing no candidate as far as the new patriotic party’s parliamentary prameries is concerned.
Speaking during an annual delegates meeting as demanded by the NPP’s constitution ,the first vice chairman for the NPP in Manhyia South Constituency who double as the Ashanti Regional NADMO Coordinator, Mr Kwabena Nsankyire together with delegates and Constituency Executives openly announced that Dr.Mathew Opoku Prempeh faces no contender .
Hon Kwabena Nsankyire further noted that, a huge task lies ahead of the NPP in it bid to retain power come 2020 general elections.
According to him, in order for manhyia South Constituency to receive alot of developmental projects,there is the need to retain Dr.Mathew Opoku Prempeh .
He was of the view that, NAPO is vocal, eloquent and very outspoken and if given the nod to represent the people of Manhyia South again will bring alot of changes in the Constituency.
Delivering his victory speech,Napo,also Education Minister, commended delegates for having confidence in him and promised to deliver more and help build manhyia South Constituency and Ghana at large.
