The General Manager of Power 97.9 FM, Salifu Maase also known as Mugabe, has lost his father.
Alhaji Issaka Maase died Thursday night at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH) in Kumasi after a short illness.
He was 90 years.
Per Islam customs, Alhaji Maase will be buried today at Subriso near Tepa in Ashanti Region.
Alhaji Maase was a seasoned farmer who invested hugely in crops like maize as well as cattle rearing.
Tributes have begun pouring in from Mugabe’s friends and his colleagues from XYZ Broadcasting in Accra.
