Muntaka donates furniture, start-up equipment to schools apprentices at Asawasi

Alhaji Muhammed Muntaka ,Member of Parliament (MP) for Asawasi in the Ashanti Region and the Minority Chief Whip in Parliament has donated about one thousand (1000) Dual desks, twenty thousand (20,000) exercise books and four thousand school uniforms to the schools in his  constituency from primary to Senior High Schools to argument the furniture challenges in the education sector.
The Member of Parliament also donated startup equipment which includes industrial, Netting machines, hair driers, and hand sewing machines to  apprentices at the total cost of Gh¢1.1000.00 from GetFund, MPs Social intervention fund.
According to the Minority Chief Whip, educational infrastructure, teaching and learning materials are important to child motivation for excellence, and for that matter, his intention to provide and improve educational infrastructures with teaching and learning materials to every school in the constituency as part of his five years development agenda to improve the standard of education and those in apprenticeship towards towards the total development of  the electorates in the constituency.
He pleaded with the teachers to also make every efforts they could to make the students better by ensuring that their results improve.
Dr. Amankrah Appiah, the Ashanti regional Director of Education, commended the Member of Parliament for effort and always determine to ensure that the standard of education improve the the constituency.
He disclosed that, the MP is already ready to support the sector anytime he is called upon ,and has being helping all the school all the time, especially in terms of the provision of classrooms furniture, teaching and learning materials and is always reliable and approachable, which he said needs commendation.
He urged parents to prioritize their wards education, adding that Muslims must give their children both circular and Arabic education for that total development to become responsible elders to take the mantle of leadership roles in the near future.
