Nana Kwaku Agyei Dwumah II, the Chief of Effiduase Nsutam in the Sekyere East district of Ashanti Region, has strongly denied allegations of brutality and land seizure leveled against him. In a statement, Nana Kwaku Agyei Dwumah II described the allegations as false and baseless, claiming that he was actually preventing unlawful land sales that did not follow due process.

The Chief alleged that some of his opponents are attempting to tarnish his image and undermine his contributions to the community. He emphasized that his actions were aimed at protecting the interests of the community and ensuring that land transactions are conducted in accordance with established protocols.

Abusuapanin Amoh Agyei, Head of the Asene Royal Family, has also condemned the actions of some residents related to the issue, expressing support for Nana Kwaku Agyei Dwumah II’s efforts to maintain order and protect community interests.

The allegations against Nana Kwaku Agyei Dwumah II come amid concerns about land disputes and human rights abuses in the region. However, the Chief’s supporters argue that he has been a champion of community development and has worked tirelessly to promote peace and stability in the area.
