Dr.Samuel Sarpong,former Ashanti regional minister in elsewhile former president John Dramani Mahama’s administration has said that, the background of cadres and the NDC as a political party should tell everyone that,even though NDC is not a violent party,it cannot be Suppressed by violence no matter the magnitude of such violence and the perpetrators behind.
According to him,let other political parties , especially the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) be told that, no political party in this country is a custodian of violence.
He said,the day light robbery of the 2020 general elections by the NPP has led the NDC resolve that they the cadres are prepared to resist any unconventional force by the NPP going forward into future elections especially 2024 elections.
Dr.Samuel Sarpong,also former Kumasi Mayor made this known in an address he delivered during the commemoration of 38th Anniversary of Cadres’ Day Celebration and Inauguration of the Young Cadres UCF-Ashanti regional chapter today at GNAT hall.
“All must know that the name of the game in the 2024 election is fairness and right from today ,Cadres in the NDC are not prepared to negotiate this demand.”He Stressed.
