Ivan Kyei, a political analyst, has criticized the New Patriotic Party (NPP) for being on a “foolish course” due to its lack of direction and desperation.

According to Kyei, the NPP has lost focus and is struggling to articulate its message, leading to a series of misguided actions.

Demonstrations Lack Relevance.

Ivan Kyei speaking on Onua Ma’kye morning show hoted by JB this morning specifically pointed to the recent demonstrations organized by the NPP, questioning their relevance and purpose.

He noted that the NPP’s actions seem to be driven by desperation rather than a clear understanding of the issues at hand.

Kyei highlighted the inconsistency in the party’s approach, citing the example of President John Dramani Mahama’s government sacking several officials, including the CEOs of Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital and Tamale Teaching Hospital, without sparking similar demonstrations.

Lack of Credibility.

Kyei’s criticism of the NPP extends to the party’s credibility, which he believes has been eroded by its actions.

He described the NPP as “not serious” and lacking the moral authority to lead the country. According to Gyei, the party’s behavior is indicative of a deeper problem, one that goes beyond mere political posturing.

Ivan Kyei’s assessment of the NPP’s current state raises important questions about the party’s direction and leadership. As the NPP navigates its way through the complexities of Ghanaian politics, it remains to be seen whether the party can regain its footing and articulate a clear, coherent message that resonates with the Ghanaian people.
