Some thugs believed to be NPP members have attacked Onua TV Maakye live telecast show at Obuasi in the Obuasi Municipality of the Ashanti region.
According to the report, some group of youth have dismantled the TV station’s set-up mounted to broadcast the second-day telecast of the show to support the people of Obuasi concerning many other issues disturbing the people.
The report has it that, the thugs who attacked the Onua Tv crew were sent by some New Patriotic Party NPP members in Obuasi.
Onua TV as part of their work went to Obausi from Acccra to open their platform to the people of Obausi to discuss the escalating issues of mining incidents that happens some weeks ago at the AngloGold mining concession which took the interventions of the military to hult the activities of the illegal miners in Obuasi which as result If that the team was attacked this morning by unidentified thugs to stop the station from this morning broadcast.
