The New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Ashanti Region has a new set of regional executives following the party’s regional elections, with Odeneho Kwaku Appiah emerging as Regional Chairman.

The new leadership team is expected to steer the affairs of the party in the region and strengthen its structures ahead of future political engagements.

The executive team is made up of:

Regional Chairman: Odeneho Kwaku Appiah

1st Vice Chairman: Amofa Jantoa

2nd Vice Chairman: Adai Poku Aikins

Regional Secretary: Francis Adomako

Assistant Secretary: Kyeretwie Bonsu

Regional Organiser: Dennis Kwakwa

Regional Women’s Organiser: Beatrice Owusu

Regional Youth Organiser: Martin Ameyaw

Regional Communication Officer: Keskine Owusu Poku

Regional Treasurer: Helena Mensah

Nasara Coordinator: Razak

The outcome places Odeneho Kwaku Appiah at the helm of the NPP’s Ashanti Regional administration, with the other elected executives expected to work with him to coordinate party activities across the region.

The Ashanti Region remains one of the NPP’s most significant political strongholds, making the effectiveness of the new regional leadership particularly important as the party works to reorganise its structures, mobilise its grassroots and strengthen unity among its members.

The new executives will now be expected to translate their mandate into effective grassroots organisation, party mobilisation and coordination, while working together to maintain cohesion within the regional branch of the NPP.

Their performance will likely be closely watched by party supporters and stakeholders as the NPP seeks to consolidate its structures and position itself for upcoming political contests.
